After The 6th Day – Quality Work Life Manual

Quality Work Life Manual
Description:

We all have different aspirations in life… whether big or small. Everybody harbours a specific dream in life. The funny thing about life is that once we achieve whatever we had set to achieve, craving for more achievements sets in immediately. This is natural. And just like the pointer in the compass is always to the North, such is expected of any normal human being.

Like I remember, when I decided to start my academic journey, I had set my eyes fixed to a Diploma… Period. After I was done with it, I found it inadequate and thought of pursuing my degree, which I started right away. I secured my long-cherished lifetime dream—acquiring a Degree. Today, I hold a Degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA-Hons) majoring in Marketing and a Minor in HR. No sooner had I completed my degree, the urge to clear my Master’s degree began unfolding. Within a period of 2 years, I am now a holder of Master’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in strategic management.

Thoughts of completing the academic ladder beckoned. I found myself registering for a doctorate degree course at JKUAT. As we speak right now, this is an added feather in my rich academic legacy already. Surprisingly enough, I am now in my final year clearing my law degree. My fear now is what next after this feat. Such is life, and the mind of any normal mortal of sound mind and frame is always to keep on conquering one achievement after another. Once you climb Mt. Kenya, another taller mountain always surfaces. Mt. Everest still awaits my attempt.

We all have a lot to resonate with when it comes to the various levels of life that we find ourselves in after achieving our various aspirations in life. This being the case, we sometimes find ourselves multitasking in a bid to achieve the many projects that cross our minds. In some instances, this kind of scenario makes us lose the impetus of planning and throws us off balance. The danger of this trend sometimes jeopardizes our lives and threatens our very lives.

I take this early moment to congratulate you for holding this great literature, which I believe will give you the much-needed information to avert the crisis that befell me.
